Jean-Baptiste JOIRE

Born in 1982 in France, Jean Baptiste Joire is an artist whose multidisciplinary practice unfolds through digital photographic techniques and video. Holding a Master’s degree in Film (Master 1) from Paris X Nanterre University, he has consistently alternated between video and photography projects. Based in Senegal, he carries out numerous collaborations with fellow contemporary artists to highlight the richness and vitality of the Senegalese capital. As a foreign observer of a society striving within a constantly shifting urban environment, he seeks to extract a captivating part of its narrative.
